This suspension mounted luminaire is great for halogen lighting. The Guardian of light is constructed of a polycarbonate shade which is available in black, aluminum grey or white. The Guardian of Light looks like a classic lampshade until it is switched on, at which point you realize that the classical form conceals an innovative idea: the shade is a cloak that wraps around itself, keeping the magic of the light secret. When the cloak is opened, by means of the protruding flap, the lamp gently releases its light, which goes out again when the cloak is closed. The lamp is equipped with a clear cord.
