The RBX270J is equipped with two powerful pickups that can be used to create a wide range of bass guitar sounds. The front pickup (neck position) is a P-type split single-coil. This produces a warm, punchy tone that's great for diverse playing and music styles. The pickup by the bridge is a J-type single-coil and has an incredibly bright, clear sound. With the balance knob (middle potentiometer) you can choose the sound from the neck or bridge pickup and every combination in between. Furthermore, you have a lot of choices with the master volume and master tone, for example you use these to filter out high frequencies for a woolly jazz sound. Cut from the right stuff The body of the RBX270 has a comfortable, unique form with two cutaways that give you free access to the 24th fret.
