To effectively combat local infection, a combined antimicrobial and cleaning action is necessary to remove all components that may limit the action of silver ions. Instructions for use: Before applying the dressing, clean the wound with a saline solution. Remove the protective tabs. Apply the micro-adhesive part of UrgoClean Ag over the wound and the wound contour. If necessary, cover the UrgoClean Ag dressing with a suitable secondary dressing depending on the wound location and exudate level. Use a support bandage to prevent detachment. UrgoClean Ag dressings should be renewed every 1 to 2 days during the phase of major removal of devitalized tissue, and then with the required frequency (up to every 7 days) depending on the volume of the exudates and the clinical evolution of the wound.
