Community Manager/Host to work full-time 5 days a week for 1 month (August) at a retreat in Lisbon. The aim of the retreat is to create a fantastic community for digital nomads visiting Lisbon. We help them make lasting connections and experience the liveliness of Lisbon. The Community Manager’s main goal is to cultivate a fun and safe community for guests, ensure the smooth daily running of the program, resolve conflicts, and make sure everyone is having an awesome time! This is a great opportunity to work with travelers from all over the world! The retreat offers a chance to work in a high-energy environment with a flexible work schedule and take on a managerial role. Duties: - socializing with guests, onboarding, and engaging new members of the community - managing a large group of digital nomads - making sure everything in the retreat program is running smoothly - resolving any conflicts - cultivating a community and ensuring everyone is having an awesome time - keeping co-working space tidy - going out with the guests to events and excursions, including weekend trips - working schedule is 5 days per week full-time (8-hour days), flexibility for working days/hours is preferred. Requirements: - Live in Lisbon - Fluent in Portuguese and English - Super extroverted and friendly personality! - Patient and organized - Customer service orientated - Be available to start August 7, 2022, position ends Sept 1, 2022. Nice to have: -Able to teach Portuguese - mostly conversational -Able to teach Yoga -Prior experience as a tour guide, receptionist at a hotel/hostel, or any kind of group managerial role. Our team that embraces 14 nationalities and works across 6 different languages, ensures that every interaction with customers is focused on improving the student and landlord experience, so that room search becomes as easy as buying a flight ticket.   In this role, your mission is: The main responsibility of this internship is to cold-call landlords and business providers to get them to sign up on Uniplaces; You will be in charge of finding new leads through our current lead in the German markets; You will be responsible for acquiring new customers in order to build your own portfolio of clients and properties; You will also need to perform meetings with your potential customers (landlords) to close the deal and upsell. Most of the activities related to this position will take place over the phone or over video calls; You will also have other (supporting) tasks such as supporting customers when using our platform, collect feedback, listing creation and optimization of the current inventory, or performing translations. You will be speaking with landlords, property owners, managers of student residences and property managers, to find out if they are interested in working for Uniplaces. The nature of the work has to do with making calls and sending emails to maximize the most out of your interactions with potential clients for Uniplaces. You are the start of the accommodation provider journey with Uniplaces. You will be accountable for understanding whether or not it will make sense for both parties to work together, by asking the right questions and getting all the needed answers from accommodation providers.   What will your mission be?  Engage and acquire new landlords by presenting our value proposition through outbound cold calls; Follow and prioritize a list of leads previously generated by our Marketing department; Follow-up landlords (through phone or email) from the first call up until their offers are published on our platform; Liaise with other teams to ensure listings and property information is of high quality.
