FLEXIBLE METHODOLOGY I offer online lessons on conversation, grammar, reading comprehension, essay writing,.... In the first lesson I try to understand your goals, needs and interests, and to assess the level of Portuguese knowledge you have. This will allow me to choose the appropriate teaching method for you. If you prefer, I can base my teaching on a textbook, as well. This first lesson is free. PLEASE NOTE: Full payment should be made previously by bank transfer, on a weekly or monthly basis. I require a 24 hour cancellation notice otherwise the lesson must be paid in full.

Aula n.1 - Introdução ao gesto e aula prática. É um dos conceitos mais importantes para o desenho da figura humana. O gesto é ritmo, movimento e ação. Está em tudo à nossa volta, presente em cada objeto, pessoa e lugar. Aula n.2 - Proporções, medições e aula prática. Aula n.3 - Sombreamento e aula prática. Aprenda a usar várias técnicas de sombreamento, para obter figuras realistas com dimensão 3D. Aprenda a identificar os elementos específicos da luz, aplicando-os à figura. Aula n.4 - Descoberta e experimentação 1 - Aprenda a organizar o esboço com poses de 3 e 5 minutos. Aula n.5 - Descoberta e experimentação 2 - Aprenda a desenhar a figura humana e a sombrear, apenas com linhas retas, com poses de 2, 4 e 6 minutos. Aula n.6 - Poses com movimento - Aprenda a realizar esboços rápidos com poses de 30 segundos e 2 e 3 minutos. Aula n.7 - Melhorar as técnicas, uso da Tinta-da-China e pastel e uso da cor nos desenhos de figura.(Online course) Croquis drawings are usually made in a few minutes, after which the model changes pose. It benefits the artists because it helps them concentrate on the essential elements of the pose and train their perception. Portuguese-American teacher with Translation degree teaches European Portuguese to speakers of other languages. (I speak English, French and Spanish). If you want/need to improve your Portuguese, I am a Portuguese teacher who lived in the USA for over 20 years and who has ample experience in teaching languages. I tailor my lessons to the student's needs, but I always make sure that there is an element of practicality and fun. Being a translator, I like to focus on grammar, understanding of written passages, role-playing, flash-card games... I have a Proficiency Certificate from University of Cambridge and a Translation Degree from ISLA (Lisbon). I also have the Certificado de Competncias Pedadaggicas (CCP) for teachers. I teach online and can teach face-to-face in the area of Oeiras/Carcavelos. I charge $12/hour for one person; $14/hour for two people. Each lesson would last 60 minutes; I teach from early morning to 9pm, depending on the day.
