We position ourselves as a prescriber of activities and services in tourist towns and regions through AI driven travel recommendations for B2B2C and B2C. b'/xc2/xa0' Project Context: Project Stage: A first B2B2C web app platform (Alpha 2.0 version) targeted for hotels has been launched in January 2024 with one hotel chain. In a second step, the B2C AI driven travel reservation platform technical specifications has been completed in January 2024. The design and production of the B2C web app will start in April 2024 b'/xc2/xa0' Purpose statement: Search for a dynamic individual with a passion for personalized service and travel. This is a full-time, daily rate position working with demanding users and company executives. Responsibilities include leisure travel and tour reservations. b'/xc2/xa0' We are seeking: A dynamic and very experienced Director of Destinations to join the new team and lead the development of a captivating and diverse catalog of experiences across the beautiful country of Portugal. This role will require a creative and strategic thinker who can identify unique and authentic experiences, establish partnerships with suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure the highest quality offerings for our customers. b'/xc2/xa0' Responsibilities: Product Management: Create, update, and maintain a diverse and captivating catalog of experiences for the Portugal destination. Continuously enhance and refine products within the catalog to meet evolving customer preferences. Supplier Relations: Source new suppliers, discuss itineraries, and create special activities, consistently refreshing the catalog with innovative services and experiences. Negotiate new agreements and competitive rates with suppliers to ensure a wide array of high-quality offerings. Operations and Performance: Collect rates for upcoming seasons and update the system. Conduct regular meetings with suppliers to build and strengthen relationships. Maximize the utilization of the most in-demand products and services. Local Call Center / Booking Management Quality Assurance: Arrange hotel visits and conduct service quality checks during site inspections. Monitor supplier performance, generate reports, and control costs and gross margins. Yield Management: Implement a variable pricing strategy based on understanding, anticipating, and influencing consumer behavior to maximize revenue and profits. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Senior Team to monitor supplier usage and gather feedback. Address negative feedback by following up with suppliers to identify areas of improvement. Work closely with the Marketing Team to highlight destinations and services on social media platforms.
